Annual Membership Meeting
Thursday, September 26th at 6:30pm
We will meet at the Market Square Building with a time to socialize and enjoy some snacks. After a short formal meeting, the nominating committee chairman will present to you, our members, the slate of nominees to the Society on which you will vote.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Jack Melke, who will have a PowerPoint presentation about one of Miamisburg's historic and important businesses, the R.L. Drake Company.
Your attendance is very important as this will be a time to meet and learn more about the Historical Society officers who will lead us into the next adventure at our new Miamisburg History Center in Veteran's Park. Please feel free to bring friends with you. They will be welcome!
Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11, 11:00 am At Library Park
Commemorate Veteran’s Day by attending this service provided by American Legion Post 165 and the Historical Society’s Veteran’s Committee. Veteran’s Day is observed each year on November 11th at the 11th hour, which is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended World War I between the Allied Nations and Germany in 1918.
